Highest tolerance

Apex’ UltraQuick sleeve base has a unique stable construction with aluminum rings for high accuracy in TIR, without using a flexible intermediate (foam) layer. The sleeve keeps its tolerance better in the machine, as aluminum minimizes and stabilizes the compressibility. Apex always produces anilox sleeves according to the official OEM drawings.

Lowest weight

Because of the heat treated and hardened casting process, the outer aluminum wall can be thinner than conventional foam based sleeves, which results in significant weight savings, in many cases 50% of the weight or less.

Stainless steel end rings available

An extra option on Apex’ UltraQuick sleeves are the stainless steel protection end rings with a ceramic embedding that protect the sides.
